How LicenceBase works

From choosing a plan to getting help after delivery, this is exactly what happens when you order, and what we promise and do not promise.

  1. Choose a product and plan

    Every product page shows each plan length and its full price in Canadian dollars. Next to the price, "What you receive" says what the plan includes. If a detail matters to you, such as the account type or edition, email us before you buy. You can also compare products first in our comparisons or see every price in the price index.

  2. Pay once, in CAD

    Enter your email and pay by card on Stripe's own checkout page. Charged in Canadian dollars by Stripe. No taxes or fees are added at checkout. It is a one-time payment: nothing renews automatically, so there is nothing to cancel later. No account is needed. Your card details never reach our server.

  3. We prepare your order

    Every order is prepared by hand. You get a confirmation email right after payment. We aim to deliver within 12 hours of payment.

  4. Get it by email

    Delivered by email and on your private order page. The delivery email includes step-by-step activation instructions. Lost the email? Find my order sends your private order links again.

  5. Support for your whole plan

    Replacement-first support for the plan period you paid for. If something stops working, reply to your order email and we fix or replace it. If we cannot make it work as described, the refund policy applies. We aim to reply within 24 hours.

Common questions

I did not get my order email. What now?

Check your spam folder first. Then use "Find my order" with the email you paid with: it sends a private link to every order placed with that address.

Can I pay with something other than a card?

Checkout runs on Stripe and accepts cards. If you have a LicenceBase account, you can also pay from a prepaid balance.

What happens when my plan ends?

Nothing is charged. Plans are one-time payments and do not renew, so you decide whether to buy again.
