Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information LicenceBase (licencebase.com) collects, why we collect it, and what we do — and never do — with it.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a salted cryptographic hash — we cannot see your password).
• Order data: the products you purchased, order status, dates and prices, plus the delivered license/credentials so you can view them in My Account.
• A session cookie: a single functional cookie that keeps you logged in. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Payments

Card payments are processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider. Your card number is entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and never touches or gets stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount and your email address.

How we use your information

• To deliver your purchases (in your account and by email) and provide setup assistance.
• To send transactional emails — order confirmations, deliveries and setup instructions. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To provide customer support and handle refund requests.

What we never do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties.
• We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers strictly necessary to run the store — Stripe (payments) and our email provider (transactional mail) — and only to the extent needed.

Retention and security

We keep your account and order history for as long as your account exists, and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Data is stored on a secured server; passwords are hashed and payment credentials are never stored.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to records we must keep by law). Send any data request to info@licencebase.com — we respond within 30 days.
